Major & Minor Arcana

Tarot Cards

A tarot deck is divided into two parts: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. Together, they tell the story of both the big turning points in life and the everyday experiences that shape who we are becoming.

The Major Arcana — The Fool’s Journey

The Major Arcana represents the soul’s journey, often called The Fool’s Journey. Beginning with The Fool and moving through powerful archetypes like The Lovers, Death, and The World, these cards reflect the major life lessons, spiritual growth, and significant turning points that shape our path.

When Major Arcana cards appear in a reading, they often point to meaningful transformations, pivotal decisions, or experiences that have a lasting impact on who we are and where we are headed.

The Minor Arcana — Everyday Life & Growth

The Minor Arcana reflects the day-to-day experiences that make up our lives. These cards explore relationships, work, emotions, challenges, communication, and personal development through the four suits: Cups, Pentacles, Swords, and Wands.

While the Major Arcana shows the bigger picture, the Minor Arcana reveals how we move through everyday moments — the choices, patterns, and small steps that gradually create change over time.
